  N CUYAHOGA COUNTY, where Cleveland 
  is, schools cost about $260 per pupil per 
  year. School tax on homes provides $60 per 
  pupil, and state taxes $45. The other $155 
  comes from taxes on business. 
  In other words, almost 60% of our school 
  load is carried by business, and it is prob­
  ably about the same for the whole nation.
